1. Free Access to Mutant Lines
All mutant lines are provided free of charge to researchers. No handling fees are applied for seed requests, and approximately 20 seeds per line from the M3 or M4 generations will be provided upon request. However, recipients are responsible for covering the shipping costs.
2. Promoting Efficient Seed Distribution
To enhance distribution efficiency, we request that researchers who receive mutant seeds share them with colleagues upon request if the same mutant line is needed.
This collaborative approach helps ensure broader access to resources.
3. Expanding Global Collaboration
We aim to establish partnerships with institutions in other countries to create additional distribution centers, making it easier to dispatch mutant seeds internationally in the future.
4. Future Releases of Mutant Lines
We are actively sequencing more mutant lines and plan to make these additional lines available for distribution as they become ready.
5. Non-Commercial Use Policy
Seeds are provided strictly for non-commercial research and educational purposes. Commercial use is prohibited. If the seeds are intended for breeding purposes, a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) must be signed prior to distribution.
6. Seed Request Process
Requests must be made by the Principal Investigator (PI) of the research group. Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill requests from individuals who are not PIs due to funding constraints and difficulty in verifying laboratory affiliations.
To request seeds, PIs should contact Dr. Feifei Yu at the following email address:
